By using Source-to-Recall Gate, you agree to use it for text you are allowed to select, transform, and export.

Acceptable use

Use the product for personal study and lawful material. Do not use it to reproduce protected books or redistribute copyrighted passages. The extension captures only text you deliberately select; you are responsible for how you use and share it.

Service and data

The software is provided “as is” without a guarantee that it will improve recall or remain compatible with every browser. Study data is local to your device. You are responsible for exports and backups before clearing browser data or uninstalling the extension.

Press Pass purchase

A Press Pass is a $9 one-time purchase that unlocks batch export and local backup/restore for this product. It is not a subscription. Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record and handles payment and refunds. A refund automatically revokes the associated license. Core individual exports, privacy controls, and accessibility features remain free.

Changes and liability

We may improve or discontinue features, and will avoid changes that silently expose local data. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the authors are not liable for lost study data, missed reviews, or indirect damages arising from use of the product.

Open-source terms

The source code is available under the MIT License. These service terms govern use of the hosted product and paid unlock; they do not limit rights granted by that software license.
